"Wake up, Diablo!" - Gadved activates Diablo

Diablo of Monday is an armor that was part of the Original Seven. It was owned by Gadved, the leader of the Original Seven. When docked in The Original Seven Satellite ring, Diablo of Monday resembled an Axe.

Characteristics[]

Diablo is part of the Original Seven Armors. It's designation was Monday.

Like other Armor's in the Original Seven, Diablo would dock in a satellite when not in use. While docked in the satellite, Diablo form would changed to that of an axe. It would be healed of any damage while docked too.

Gadved could summon and control Diablo via his Axe, which was made from a unique morphable metal. All the Original Seven armors were controlled via similar weapons.

Diablo wields a large axe as it's primary weapon.

History[]

Diablo was part of The Original Seven armors, originally created to watch over the prison planet, The Endless Illusion. Gadved was the first to pilot Diablo, and the only member of the first Original Seven to survive the anarchy of the Endless Illusion. Gadved's body was put under Reconstruction in order to make his body & mind compatible with Diablo.[1]

Gadved was saved from the savage world by The Claw, who shared his dream to bring world peace to the planet. Gadved pledged loyalty to him, using his armor and his status as the last surviving member of The Original Seven to help achieve his Comrade's dream. [2]

Much later, Gadved would try to get Van to join him and his Comrade, but Van's only desire was to kill his Comrade for murdering his wife Elena.

As Van refused to cooperate, Gadved and Van do battle using their armors, Diablo & Dann of Thurday, a fellow Original Seven armor.[3]

The pair do battle at Zonnet Junction. While both initially disarm one another, Diablo's physical bulk makes it able to overpower Dann. [4]

However, it was eventually defeated by Dann of Thursday with Van's greater drive and conviction. Both Gadved and Diablo perish, leaving Diablo's satellite empty.[5]

Sometime later, Dann of Thursday would be launched into Diablo's satellite after Dann's one was destroyed by Saudade of Sunday.[6] Van would be able to heal himself & Dann using Diablo's Satellite. It would later be destroyed by Saudade, inadvertently freeing Van & Dann.[7]
